This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on dartgearcompetitions.co.uk, what each one is for, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Websites can also keep small pieces of information in your browser's own storage (called local storage and session storage), which works in a similar way. We call all of these "cookies" in this policy.

2. Cookies that are needed for the website to work

These cannot be switched off, because the website cannot work without them.

• rafflexio_session: keeps you signed in and remembers your basket as you move around the site. It lasts up to 28 days.
• XSRF-TOKEN: a security cookie that protects the forms on the site (such as checkout and your account) from being misused by other websites. It lasts up to 28 days.

3. Advertising cookies

• _fbp: a Meta (Facebook) advertising cookie. It is set automatically by the platform our website runs on. We have not connected a Meta Pixel to our website, so no information from this cookie is sent to Meta for our adverts. It can last up to 400 days.

You can remove or block this cookie at any time in your browser settings (see section 6), and you can control how Meta uses your information for adverts in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

4. Information our site features keep in your browser

Some features of our website keep small notes in your browser. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with anyone.

• During your visit only (deleted when you close the browser tab): which account is signed in, so the players' chat, the notification bell and your Legends of the Oche rank can show your details; and which notices or pop-ups you have already closed, so they do not keep appearing.
• Kept until you clear them: whether you left the players' chat open or closed, your head-to-head preferences, whether you have already seen a site event's introduction, and whether you have answered our questions about alerts and adding the site to your home screen, so we only ask once.
• For 30 days: if you arrived through a friend's referral link, the referral code, so it can be applied when you place your first order.

5. Website statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to our pages. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.

6. How to control cookies

You can delete cookies and stored information, or block them, in your browser's settings. Each browser explains how in its help pages. If you block the cookies in section 2, you will not be able to sign in or buy entries.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
